What is an online expo or party?

Simply put, it is a group of businesses coming together in a cooperative marketing venue. Instead of you advertising your business alone, you may have 50, 60, 70 .... 100 different business all promoting one event and driving in traffic that all can benefit from.

What is the cost?

Unlike off line events that can cost anywhere from $50 and up into the hundreds of dollars, online parties and Expos generally will cost below $50. And with not having to travel, load and unload merchandise, or pay for motels and meals, this can add up to substantial savings. Expect to pay usually between $5 for one time slot up to  $40 for tables depending on the length of the event at other event site. We charge $9.95 a month for 1 company listing and have multiple business packages at deep discounts. So you can promote more than 1 company here.

Sponsoring costs can be more, of course, but then there are added benefits and advertising that go along with that.

And you can attend in your pajamas, and don't have to leave the comfort of your own home.

How will this be promoted?

Good question, it is promoted to online sites, shows, groups, advertising is purchased on communities and in newsletters in many forms and places. But the best and most useful traffic comes from the vendors themselves putting up buttons, adding it to signature lines, sending out press releases, including the info in their own newsletters and on their own websites and communities. The more people to see the event listed the more traffic everyone benefits from!

What is a table?

A table is a web page. There are two types of tables - Product tables showcase some of your own products, and there are several spots you will be able to add special items. Links will be added to a 'specials' page if you choose to create and host one, or to your direct sales special page if you are in direct sales. All ordering is done with the Vendors -- we do not take any payments or ordering information.

Information tables are just that -- they offer no product listings only information as some companies do not allow online ordering and some vendors prefer not to offer products directly at the show.

Both type of tables do have forms so visitors can request further information. Some may request a catalog or business opportunity information, ask to join your newsletter, ect.

What do I have to do?

1. Spend time at the event, get to know other vendors, make business contacts, share your business and develop relationships with others. It is the best use of your time and energy when being part of such an event. Sales should not be your primary goal but if you spend time there you should come away with a great list of contacts to follow up with and get to know and do business with.

2. And promote the event before and during the show!

What if I cannot promote it on my site?

If you are a member of RYZE you can put buttons and banners on your ryze pages, if you host a community or newsletter you can promote it to your subscribers and members, if you are a member of email groups you can add a line to your signature. Every little bit of promotion is vital to the success of the events.

Do these things really get traffic?

Our April show was a two weeks long and we had over 8,000 visits -- the daily average was about 800 visits a day to the expo center. For those vendor that were active there, it was very exciting.
Our site is Established it is 4 years old and gets between 500 and  800 visits per day.

 

How do I get traffic to my table?

You can promote your table once we start, you can host your own chats (and list time you will be in the rooms), you can offer contests, and we will be doing contests that will get traffic to your tables. From there you can offer a contest for signing your guest book or signing up for your newsletter - anything that will pull them into your site.

Other things you can do to develop contacts during the Events

Offer a seminar. We have a special room where we set up time for you to come and talk about your expertise.

If you offer business related topics or other topics, make a suggestion and we will see about setting it up as a seminar.

If you want to host a party you can create a room in the chat system and plan your time and invite the vendors and guests to your party. It is up to you to promote individual parties.

Vendors are expected to promote and to attend these event.

If you cannot Promote the event you must help us pay for advertiing of the shows. We require either button, banner or text ad to be listed on your web site or on a ryze page. (Ryze is an online community that offer free page set up.) You can link buttons there.

We allow 1 rep per hall to join our Events, other than that we are not exclusive in any way whatsoever.

We are open to all home based businesses. We allow 1 rep per hall from any direct sales companies and will not put two vendors from the same company in the same hall.  A variety of special events are offered and hall parties will be offered to showcase your business. Table fees are non-refundable and it is the vendors responsibility to set up your table for the show once we send you the login information and URL. We offer support and assistance getting your table live for the events.  Table may be use at other events as your sales page.  All table are set up live and will remain live for the entire month you sign up for even when our current event is not active. Vendor may host their own parties during shows by working with their Hall Leader, and may host parties anytime during the month when events are not active. Chatrooms are open 24/7  365 days a year. You must be a active vendor to promote during events. If you are not an active vendor you may not offer sales or special during events.
